At Top Tech Gadgets, we stand behind the quality of our products. However, due to the sensitive nature of electronic components, we enforce a strict 7-day return policy to protect the integrity of our inventory and ensure all customers receive genuine, untampered goods.

1. The 7-Day Window

Our policy lasts 7 days from the date of purchase. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase (as indicated on your receipt), we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange. No exceptions.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following “Protection Criteria”:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original, unopened packaging. If the manufacturer’s seal is broken, the item is no longer eligible for a return/refund.
  • You must provide the original receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For the protection of our company and for hygiene/security reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Software/Digital Licenses: Once a key is sent or revealed, it is non-refundable.
  • In-Ear Headphones/Earbuds: Due to health and hygiene regulations.
  • Special Orders: Items specifically ordered for a customer that are not part of our standard stock.
  • Items with “Physical Damage”: Any item that is returned with scratches, dents, or signs of power surges (burnt circuits).

4. The Inspection Process

Once your return is received at our shop (Simara Mall, Nairobi), it will be inspected by our technical team.

  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item shows signs of use, installation, or tampering.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed via the original method of payment (e.g., M-Pesa reversal or Bank Transfer) within 3–5 business days.

5. Exchanges (Defective Items)

We only replace items if they have a verifiable manufacturer defect. If you believe your item is faulty:

  1. Bring it to our shop within the 7-day window.
  2. Our technicians will test the device.
  3. If the defect is confirmed and not caused by user negligence (e.g., water damage, dropping, or use of incorrect chargers), we will replace the unit with an identical model.

6. Shipping/Transport Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping or transport costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
